TRANSFORMING LEGAL
PRACTICE WITH AI
Our mission is to make AI accessible to the legal professionals who have to do it all on their own. CHAINGE partners with barristers, judges and solicitors to democratise AI’s benefits, targeting 20% time savings to improve work-life balance, facilitate new ways of working or enable business growth.
Over the last 3 years, AI has evolved from an interesting but largely ineffectual novelty to a powerful suite of tools which can outperform lawyers on a range of legal tasks. Large firms are leading adoption and already deriving meaningful benefit, however this is not translating to smaller operations, barristers or the judiciary, who are missing out on the work-life and growth benefits AI offers.
Balancing the risks of hallucinations, confidentiality breaches and biased output with the fear of being left behind or missing out on AI’s benefits is fraught with uncertainty. Navigating this alone risks significant exposure from unsecure tools such as ChatGPT or reliance on hallucinated research. For many it is easier to simply avoid the topic.
At CHAINGE we believe that AI is not something to fear, rather its genuinely transformative capabilities must be harnessed for good. It performs particularly well on tasks like document review, legal drafting and legal research and is forecast to replace up to 44% of legal tasks. Even today a 20% time saving is realistic for most practitioners- what would you do with a day back each week?
AI cannot replicate your expertise and is not even close to taking your job (today), rather it is a tool whose capabilities you can embrace to make working life significantly better, with virtually no technical know-how. At CHAINGE, we want to fill the gap between AI capabilities and adoption to build personalised change management programmes to ensure that you achieve 20% time savings.
Our specialism is change management, meaning we focus on all aspects of AI adoption, including showing you how to use tools to get effective results, building business cases for AI adoption, helping you select the right tools, ensuring you are working securely, building your oversight processes and delivering the artefacts you need to achieve your goals.
Based in Belfast, CHAINGE works with barristers, judges and solicitors throughout the UK and Ireland.
